Hello everyone
I am trying to update a PBI file but I stay for hours in "creating connection to the model", I already checked my excel files, they continue as they have always been, I also tried with data loads disabling relationships, background options, parallel tables, but nothing has served me, something similar has happened to them??

Thanks to everyone I solved it!!! It was because I was reading columns to infinity of a file, so if this happens to you also check the columns that do not have information, in order to delete them.
Good days.
A solution to this issue was found? I have a user who is having the exact same problem. It is only with one file, with other files it works without problem. We tried by checking the mentioned options, we tried removing the sharepoint accesses; reviewing columns that do not go to infinity.
Any idea how to solve it? I await an answer. Thanks a lot.

Can you disable the Data load setting as shown below and try again?
It doesn't work for me, I did all those steps and it's still been about 30 minutes with the theme of creating connection to the model. I have other GDPs and everyone else is good for me.
Do you have the Excel files on your local computer or are they on a shared drive , sharepoint etc.?. Try to load one excel file without any relationship using a new PBIX file.
I do have the files on a sharepoint drive, but it makes it difficult for me to leave it unrelated, because they are files that are updated by other people the same.
