Hi there,
I've heard PowerBI can access groupd from within Sharepoint - I'm not clear on this though, and would appreciate any reference material?
Following that, I'm wondering whether these Sharepoint Groups, or perhaps some other approach, could assist me in developing a Company Landing Page, where everynoe who logs into PowerBI can then select their own department, and then be presented with their specific dashboards.
I see that one could probably just create different dashboards for each department, but then these need to be shared by name with the relevant individuals, which could be quite ap ain to administer...

Hi @wi11iamr,
Firstly, you are able to connect to a SharePoint group from Power BI by submitting the group's URL address in the following screenshot. But I am afraid that the connection will not help in developing landing page.
Secondly, a idea that define landing page for users/groups has been submitted to Power BI idea forum. You can vote it in this idea: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/12866796-define-homepage-per-pers... .
Thirdly, in Power BI, you can create different dashboards for different departments and when you share these dashboards, you can share with members of a distribution group by entering the email address associated with the distribution group.
Alternatively, you can create different groups in Power BI for different departments, create each department's dashboards in groups. Members added in theses groups will be able to view the contents(dashboards, reports and dataset) for their departments. For more details about Power BI group, please review this article.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
