Hi everyone!
Could you please help me with DAX formula. The situation is like that: I have a list of thousands of manufacturers, but I want to look at total sales of only which I would select from this list and group really small ones as "others". I am a beginner and can not quite understand what to use - I tried to use "Top N" filter, but it can not group "others" section on the tree map.
Would really appreciate detailed answer! Thanks
Best regards,
Zhibek

Perhaps create a Rank Column, https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Quick-Measures-Gallery/To-Bleep-with-RANKX/m-p/1042520#M452
Then create a column like:
Column = IF([Rank]<=10,[Manufacturer Name],"Other")
@Anonymous check this post, if it doesn't work share pbix file , remove sensitive information and I will send you the solution.

@parry2k ,
Thank you for such a quick reply! The post didn't help me though... I've created example pbix file, would be happy if you could look at it: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1l-wj6WRCenx8LCCg3OKT7sSWziz_4Wgo
Also, is it possible to choose particular manufacturers by hand and group others as "others". I mean in my case Xiaomi is not in Top-5 by total sales, but my management asked me to precisely look at Apple, Samsung, Huawei, Nokia and Xiaomi.
Thank you so much in advance!
