Creating a custom chatbot in Power BI using GPT.

I’ve been trying to build this by creating a custom visual using Node.js, but I keep running into multiple errors one after another, making the process quite frustrating.

Is there an alternative or easier method to integrate a GPT-based chatbot in Power BI—  web service, or embedding an external app—without having to build a custom visual from scratch? I just want my own chatbot on PBI. Any guidance or step-by-step approach would be really helpful.

Thank you for engaging with the Microsoft Fabric Community. You don’t need to build a custom visual from scratch there are much easier ways to add a GPT based chatbot to Power BI. You can use the LLM Chatbot custom visual or Power BI Embedded Analytics, both of which are supported within Microsoft’ ecosystem, making integration smoother and more reliable.
