Hi everyone,
For context, I have conducted a survey asking people about possible reasons why they chose a certain univeristy and they were to choose form a list of choices (question1, question 2, question 3... etc.). I have received a total of 131 responses (grand total) but only 81 have completed the survey. I am creating a clustered bar chart to count the number of responses for each question, which looks something like this:
The issue is that I want to show the data values as a % proportion to the total, but not the grand total, I only want to take into account the 81 responses that FINISHED the entire survey.
I have previously created an entirely new table with columns for the question name, number of responses per question, and % proportion to the 81 responses. However, this did not work.
I'm not sure how to go about this and any guidance on how to solve this issue would be appreciated!

Hi,
PBI file attached.
Hope this helps.
Hi,
Share some data to work with and show the expected result in a simple Table format. Share data in a format that can be pasted in an MS Excel file.
Of course!
Here is the link to data I have: Survey Data.xlsx. This table has pivoted columns, I pivoted them in PowerBI and am currently using this to make my charts.
As for graphs,
I've handdrawn what my current graph looks like and the graph I am expected to have.
Please let me know if there's anything else I should provide!
It worked perfectly! Thank you so much!
You are welcome.
