Creating Hyperlink in Table

I have been trying to create a hyplerlink in a table. I was following this link https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/power-bi-hyperlinks-in-tables plus other post that say the same thing. However, no luck. I can add the URL to the table and toggle on the URL Icon under values and it works fine.

When I try creating the hyperlink with Conditional Formating>Web URL (and having the url column set to Uncategorized) it won't let me select the URL column. What am I missing. I have been able to do this mutiple times before but this time I'm stuck.

It is set to text. I started a new file to replicate it and it works the way it should. File must have some how become corupted along the way. The steps and setting where correct but it just didn't worked.

Thank you for your help.

Are both columns in the same table?
try adding the URL to the table visualization, then see if it will let you. Then you can maybe remove it later.

Also, where it says 'values only' on top right of your screenshot, see if you can change to 'first' and if that helps.

Yes both fields are in the same table. The 'values only' doesnt show a first.

I tried adding just the column and the url. Then tried it but still no luck. Is there a formating issue I might be missing?

What is the data type of the RAURL column? It should be text or it won't work, but I would think you're doing that already...

If that is already text, are you able to upload sample pbix file with sensitive data removed?

@Anonymous
Thanks for taking the time to update us on this. Glad it's working. Let us know if you ever figure out how it got corrupted to begin with, but love the good old restart.
