Created measure gets lost
Do you have another measure named "Rank"? The measure won't save on it's own if there is another measure that has that same name. Based off of the error message you posted, I would double check the other Measure names, change the name of 'Rank' to something else, and the measure should save.

Thanks for your reply. The thing is I have not created another rank measure on top of that. I was working on my project and suddenly this issue has arised from nowhere. I was only modifying that "Rank" measure (changing calculation from "COUNT" to "SUM") and as you said I submitted it. It was already there for ages and I was modified it before too but this time this problem happened and I do not know any solution for this and also could not find any.
BTW I am working on a virtual machine that leads me to think it might be a memory problem, but not sure again :(
