Dear Power BI Community,
I've had much success created my date table, joining it to my main query and running dax formula against it.
However this time, it's not working as I anticipate...
When I join my date table this time, the heirarchy breakdown does not show up. As such, my calculated values are only providing me with the total aggregate.
My calendar formula is: Calendar = CALENDAR("2014-01-01","2050-01-01")
My calculated measure is: Number of Activities = CALCULATE(COUNTA(Query1[Activity]),ALL('Calendar'[Date]))
Thanks in advance for the community's guidance.
Hi @FrugalEconomist,
Based on my test, the matrix displays data correctly. I followed the steps as you described and got the output as shown in below screenshot.
In your scenario, please add the data records into a table visual to check the data records. Please provide some sample data so that I can reproduce your issue.
Thanks,
Yuliana Gu
Thanks for your reply Yuliana,
What's the best way to share sample data in power bi?
Sincerely,
Kai
