Create ranked leaderbord and add movement week on week

Hi all,

I am a total PowerBI novice and am trying to get my head around hwo to do some ranking and movement to create a leaderboard. I simply have 2 (and will soon have 6) tables with scores that players have accumalated each day and I want to combine them and include up/down/static graphics to show movements, much like the image below..

I've started playing around in the Power Query editor but this is a steep learning curve for me, so please excuse my noobiness! 🙂

Day 1 could look like this...

Rank

PlayerScore
1

Player1

20
2Player218
3Player316
4Player414
5Player512

Then Day 2

RankPlayerScore
1

Player1

20
2Player218
3Player316
4Player414
5Player512

So I want to add the scores and then rank accordingly... if that makes sense?

Update... I have managed to create rank so now I just need to know how to create the graphics when the rank changes from day to day. Any help much appreciated. I'm able to modify the source excel document to calculate the sum of scores from each week on week if its easier to do that way, whatever 🙂

Hi anyone who is still listening... So as below, I have now created a new ranking for a new table that comines the scores from day 1 and day2. As uo can see, there have been some movements in the scoreboard that I would like to indicate with some nice up/down green/red symbols.

Anyone...?
