Create messure with distinctcount

Hello all,

I will make a messure with distinctcount, but it must be return a 0 (zero) if the are nu results.

I thought I could apply the formula like this but then I get a False/True back

Count Unique_ID = calculate(DISTINCTCOUNT('Log detention'[Unique_ID]))>BLANK()+0

How is the right formule to do this?

Hi @Frixel ,

Try this measure:

Count Unique_ID = calculate(DISTINCTCOUNT('Log detention'[Unique_ID]))+0

Or:

Count Unique_ID =
var uniqueID = DISTINCTCOUNT('Log detention'[Unique_ID])
Return
IF(uniqueID=BLANK(),0,uniqueID)

Thanks, this works for me.

Count Unique_ID = calculate(DISTINCTCOUNT('Log detention'[Unique_ID]))+0

Hello @Frixel
Please use the below measure.
Distinct ID = DISTINCTCOUNT ('Log detention'[Unique_ID]) + 0
If you don't want to see blank records or 0 then please apply the measure level filter as 'is not blank' and 'is greater than' 0.
