Create first party connection failed

I am getting the error while creating power automate in Power BI

  • Hi Anonymous

You need to sign in your Power BI account and Excel Online (Business) account. After that, the sign-in account will display left to the tick and the Continue button will be clickable.

Or you can sign in your Power BI account in top right corner of Power BI Desktop application, then your account name will display in above screen. Then you just need to click "Sign in" string to sign in the account.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/add-manage-connections -> add connection in Power Automate platform:

      - Left side

      - Chose "Connections"

      - If not visible -> click on the three dots (More) and chose it from there (it may be unpinned)

After establishing the connections you need (one of them with Power BI), try again to sign in within the Power Automate window from the Desktop PBI app.

If issue is still present, go ahead and establish your workflow in the online Power Automate platform.  (https://make.preview.powerautomate.com/)

If the struggles continue, perhaps some policy is preventing the connection from establishing.
