Create connected 3 pie chart

Greeting,

I want to create 3 charts that connects with each other, which it does currently. But there is one thing I want to improve on. When the first pie "Close" is selected, the second chart shows close for OCS and Sig. However, when OCS is selected in second chart, the number changed. I would like to achieve the 2nd pie the number remains close for OCS instead of the number changed to the total of open and close for OCS.

For the first pie, interaction filter is set for 2nd and 3rd. For the 2nd pie, filter is set for 3rd chart.

To keep the 2nd pie chart showing only the "Close" count for OCS when you select OCS, instead of changing to the total of Open and Close:

1. Create a measure for the 2nd pie chart that always filters for "Close" status, ignoring other statuses.

2. Use this measure in the 2nd pie chart instead of the default count or sum.

3. Keep the interaction filters as they are.

This way, when you select OCS in the 2nd pie, it still shows only the "Close" values for OCS, not the total.

i think you can try bookmark navigator. Set up the bookmarks fist, then use bookmark navigator to direct to the expected ouptut

Use Edit Interactions Carefully

• Ensure Chart 1 (Status) filters both Chart 2 and Chart 3.
• Ensure Chart 2 (Discipline) only filters Chart 3.
• But Chart 2 should not override the Status filter — this is where the default behaviour may not suffice, hence the need for DAX-based control.
