Create an Account with University Email

Hello dear, 

I hope you are doing well, 

I am trying to create a Power BI account using my university account. My university domain is @svuonline.org. 

I got an error message that I cannot create an account with this email.

Power BI requires a work or school email account, and self-service sign-up may be disabled by your organization Microsoft Learn. Your university's IT department has likely blocked self-service sign-ups for Microsoft Power BI on the @svuonline.org domain.you can try below links for creating free accounts for practice purpose.

Hi,

Power BI does not allow signup using personal or non-Microsoft-managed domains and your @svuonline.org doesn't seem like recognized by Microsoft as part of an Azure AD tenant, so Power BI cannot create an account under it.

You should check with university’s IT department and ask whether it has a Microsoft 365 subscription and students are provisioned with Azure Active Directory accounts.
