I am trying to create a multi-search text box . Lets say if i want to search either by customer name or customer ID.
I want to give the user the ability to click on either customer name / customer id and then the search/slicer should show a drop down of those .
How do i go about this?
Rather than a hierarchy slicer , would a text filter slicer be possible , to search either A or 1 . And i was looking for a partial search eg if customer name is Aaron . if i type Aa , it should populate . I do know there is a custom text filter to do this . But from what ive found concatenation the only way to obtain a multi-column partial search . I was hoping there is another way
You can just add both fields to the slicer and it should work
