Hello,
Is there a way I am able to creat a drop down to display my numbers in a matrix as either thousands, millions or billions?
I am connected to a mini cube via SSAC so there are numerous restrictions with it being a live connection including inserting a table.
Dynamic formatting is not fit for purpose for my use case.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi,
Thanks for following up.
I don't beleive a solution is available for this as per Deku's comment.
Let me know if i have misinterpreted this.
Thanks
Hi @pbi_newie,
Since you're connected to a SQL Server Analysis Services Cube (SSAS/SSAC) using Live Connection, and dynamic formatting or creating new tables/measures isn't possible, the workaround is limited to what can be done via DAX.

Thanks @Anonymous
Let me know if you are aware of a way to acheive this using DAX.
Hi @pbi_newie,
There is no way to create a true dropdown-driven scaling mechanism using only DAX within Power BI.
you cannot achieve this entirely from Power BI via DAX with a Live connection to SSAS and without modifying the cube.

Since you are live connected (and can't use composite model?) you will not be able to add a table, field parameters or calc group, so will not be able to populate a drop down
Do you mean you have access to a perspective on a SSAS tabular model. Is the model in fabric/Power BI service?
@Deku so i connect to the mini cube by selecting Get data and then SQL Server Analysis Services database by entering the link and selecting Connect live.
The model isn't in fabric / Power BI service
