Create a chart using a different field for the label

I want to create a donut chart in a report that uses a field 'Product_Desc' for the details and

a count of the same field for the value. The tricky part is that I don't want to show the count in the chart label. I want to use a different field, 'GoldStandard_Score', as a part of the label instead. Also, I want overlay an average (just text) of all the 'GoldStandard_Score' fields over the top of the donut chart. Is this possible in Power BI?

Thanks,

So, your donut chart would have all of the pieces of the donut be the same size? Can you provide a sample of your data?

In general, one technique that you could use would be to turn off Data Labels and then use a Card visualization to overlay the donut chart.

Here is an image of what I want to do. I think I figured out the overlay an average (just text) of all the'GoldStandard_Score' fields over the top of the donut chart by using a card of the top of the donut chart. The chart itself is based on the count of each Product_Desc but the label is the Product_Desc & the GoldStandard_Score. Below is what I have so far.

        Hi bumley66,

Currently, we can only display fields which placed in Legend, Details or Values properties as data labels in the donut chart. As the field 'GoldStandard_Score' doesn’t stored in those properties, it’s not supported to display its values as part of data labels intuitively. One workaround is to place the field 'GoldStandard_Score' in Tooltips property. When you move the cursor and hover on the donut, 'GoldStandard_Score' can display.
