Create a Integration with Power BI on my Web Application(Built on Azure)

Hi Everyone,

Context:
We have a successfully running an B2B application, running on Azure Ecosystem, and some of the clients want their data to be used for some custom visualisations, hence they are looking for a connector from the application and upon linking their data flows into their power BI account.

Scope:

  • We are ready to built API to push the data from the application stand point ( We have not built it yet, but the solution suggest the same we are ready to do it)
  • Clients will have their own power BI account, so after the data flow into their power BI account, so how the data is used and access and roles are completely managed from the client side
  • We do not want to embed the dashboards or reports on our web application.
  • We cannot allow the users to connect to our Azure DB due to our technical architecture

Please suggest the best way possible, Also if we are pushing the data into their power BI account how can we optimally achive it with minimal steps to ensure the connection is established and the data is flowing into their power BI account

@VAMSY , Because of what you mentioned in the last two points, the embedded Power BI option is ruled out.

You can use Power BI's REST API connector to fetch data in Power BI, create a model, report, and share it with users.
