Create Trendline using the Clustered Column Chart

Hello,

Client is asking for a trendline, however, I cannot find the trendline on any visualizations.  Was hoping to use it on a Clustered Column Chart, however, it is not an option.  I tried a Line Chart and Area Chart also, however, the Trendline was still not an option.

Here is the formula I am using for Values ...

But no option to choose Trendline here (Not there when I change visualization to Line or Area chart either)

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

To add Tendline I had to do the following ... 

I had to change the Axis from YearMonth_Sort to Service_Date_Month. 

I had to change the Legend from Service_Date > Year to Service_Date_Year. 

To add Trendline > Click on Magnifying glass icon (Next to paintbrush) > then add a Trendline 

Under Paintbrush > X axis > = Continuous

I changed the x-axis to Categorical, however, there is still not Trendline.  Any advice?

@jonnyA , when you date on a line visual and continuous axis, that should be trend line

Or are looking for sparkline
