Create Relationship Window always Freeze

I am really appalled by the interface error of Power BI desktop on my laptop. I am on latest verion Version: 2.145.1602.0 64-bit (July 2025) yet 50% of the  time I try to create a new relationship from Manage Relationship, the window comes out as  just a fraction of what it should be showing the top left corner part of the normal window size and I could see anything outside that part. I have to close the entire Power BI desktop window to restart it. Please help.

Since you are still experiencing the issue, please submit a support ticket to Microsoft. So the backend engineers will assist in identifying and resolving the problem.

Hi @Dragut,

You can try clearing the cache and updating Power BI Desktop to the latest version. Here’s a screenshot showing my version (2.148.880.0 64-bit, October 2025), and the Create Relationship window is working properly for me. Updating should help fix the issue with the partial window display.

I have updated to Oct. latest version now, but the freezing still happens.

Thank you for sharing the latest update. This issue is commonly related to Windows display scaling or graphics rendering. Try adjusting your display scaling to 100% or 125% by going to Settings > System > Display, and then restart Power BI Desktop. If you have multiple monitors, use only your laptop screen or make sure all monitors have the same scaling.

Looks like so. It happens to other laoptops and other actions with pop up windows in power BI as well. Display scaling is already set to 100% but still happening.
