Create Min & Max Date calculated columns from unlinked Filtered Dates Table.

I have a date table that is filtered by a "Date" slicer that allows users to select a Hirarchy Date of "Year | Month".  I have the below measures that capture the "First (Min)" and "Last (Max)" dates from the "Year | Month" Slicer...

First Period Date = CALCULATE(MIN('Table: Dates'[Date]),ALLSELECTED('Table: Dates'[Date]))
Last Period Date = CALCULATE(MAX('Table: Dates'[Date]),ALLSELECTED('Table: Dates'[Date]))

I want to try and get away from the meaures and use calculated columns for "First Date"  and "Last Date".  How can I convert the measures to columns in a table that "does not" have a relationship with the the "Dates Table".  I tried something like...

First Period Date = MIN('Table: Dates'[Date])

But this does not work.

Thanks in advance.

Is there a way to create a First/Min & Last/Max Date column (not measure) that will update depending on date slicer selection?  So as an example, if someone selected Q1 2023, the entire first date column would be 01/01/2023 and the last date would be 31/03/2023

I have it working as a measure, but would prefer a calculated column in an actual table.
