Create Custom column for name of the day

Hi guys,

I want to add custom column in my table for name of the day. It has column date already.

I know there is function FORMAT([date], "dddd"), but I don't know why it say "The name 'FORMAT' wasn't recognized" error ? Is it because of Diect Query method which is not suppoert that function ?

Kindly advice.

Thanks,

Most likely, it is not on the list of supported functions for DirectQuery:
