Countrows and remove certain records in the count

At the same time that I do the counting, I need to remove the names that are the different from "Jhon" and "Maria".

The way I did it below, it didn't work, any ideas?

TotalNames =
CALCULATE(
COUNTROWS(fGroupName),
fGroupName[Name] <> "Jhon",
fGroupName[Name] <> "Maria")

Hey @CastroRibeiro ,

the measure doesn't look bad. What is the problem with it?

If there would be more values you can also write is with NOT IN:

TotalNames =
CALCULATE(
    COUNTROWS( fGroupName ),
    NOT ( fGroupName[Name]
        IN {
        "Jhon",
        "Maria"
        }
    )
)

Since a few versions you can also combine multiple criteria:

TotalNames =
CALCULATE(
    COUNTROWS( fGroupName ),
    fGroupName[Name] <> "Jhon" && fGroupName[Name] <> "Maria"
)

If you need any help please let me know.
If I answered your question I would be happy if you could mark my post as a solution ✔️ and give it a thumbs up 👍

Hi @CastroRibeiro ,

I just made testing with your measure formula, it can return the correct result. Could you please check whether the two names "Jhon" and "Maria" spelled correctly in your formula? In addition, could you please share some sample data in table fGroupName in order to make troubleshooting?

 TotalNames =
CALCULATE(
COUNTROWS(fGroupName),
fGroupName[Name] <> "Jhon",
fGroupName[Name] <> "Maria")
