Countries not appearing in Map visualization.

Hi All,

I have the below table data and I want to show a MAP visualization for the same.

I only want the country to show up in the map visualization but as the country name is not working, I tried with Capital name and still nothing shows up. Can you please let me know if there is something more to this ?

Thanks,

AB

If you put only the country without anything else still the map is blank.

If yes. Maybe is a funny answer, but try to update the powerBI Desktop to latest version-

Put the country in Location. No need to put Latitude and Longitude

@abhishekpati86 Are you connected to the internet when you do this?

Maps will not render unless you are connected!

Hey @Sean,

It is working now. I think I was using a old version of Power BI, just downloaded the september patch and it worked fine.

Thanks,

AB
