Hello,
I am trying to create a Measure that will count only rows from a table if one of the columns begins with the word "MAIN*".
what I currently have and it is not working is:
Shipped Mains TEST =
CALCULATE(COUNTROWS('Activity'), 'Activity'[sku] = "MAIN*")
I could not find a topic that clearly describes what are the wildcards that can be used in Power BI and how to use them exactly.
Solved! Go to Solution.
@Anonymous , Try like
Shipped Mains TEST =
CALCULATE(COUNTROWS(filter('Activity' , left('Activity'[sku],4) = "MAIN") ))
or
Shipped Mains TEST =
CALCULATE(COUNTROWS(filter('Activity' , Search("MAIN", [sku] ,,0) =1 ) ))
@amitchandak ,
Thank you, I have used:
CALCULATE(COUNTROWS(filter('Activity' , Search("MAIN", [sku] ,,0) =1 ) ))
and it works just fine!
