Count of excluding Values

Hi, trying to do a measure to count Subject IDs when column type DOES NOT equal to "Ask a Question" or "Referral"

=
CALCULATE(COUNTROWS('Table'),
'Table'[Subject ID],
'Table'[Type] <> {"Ask a Question", "Referral"})

I tried few different variations including just count and filter but cannot figure this out, please help

Hi @StoryofData ,
Could you please try this code :-
COUNTROWS( FILTER( 'Table', NOT('Table'[Type] IN {"Ask a Question", "Referral"}) && 'Table'[Subject ID] <> BLANK() ) )

@StoryofData , Try a measure like

CALCULATE(COUNTROWS('Table'),
filter('Table', 'Table'[Subject ID],
not 'Table'[Type] in {"Ask a Question", "Referral"}) )

Does not work, it tried adding a parentesis after the comma in second row but that did not work either
