Count by salary ranges

Hello,

Looking for way to count the number of employess between salary ranges.

For example.

Employess    Salary

2                   £10,000 - £19,000

20                 £20,000 - £29,000

Would I need to create a measure or through power query?

Follow up: Did some digging and seems like I need a summarize table, but not getting the correct figures plus the date slicer iseems to have no impact on the result returned.

Salary Range = SUMMARIZE(Headcount,Headcount[SAP],"20000-29000",CALCULATE(COUNT(Headcount[Annual Salary]),FILTER(Headcount,Headcount[Annual Salary] >= 20000 && Headcount[Annual Salary] <= 29000)))

Thanks
Ross
