Count IF Power Bi
Trying to create a count if function in power bi
Hi,
Does these measures work?
Average sale of all POG = calculate([Sales_avg1],all(POG[POG_Cluster]))
Measure = countrows(filter(values(POG[POG_Cluster]),[Sales_avg1]<[average sale of all POG]))
If this does not work, then share the link from where i can download your PBI file.

Anonymous can you share sample data (it is important to understand) and also the measure you are using to calculate the average?

Anonymous I understand the logic but it is more important to understand the data. It is not all about sales and avg sales, the importance is to know how the relationship between tables is or using one table etc, etc. so do provide sample data with the expected output. Hi Anonymous ,
As far as I know, COUNTIF should be the function in excel. The logic is to count the rows based on filter. Here I will create a sample to show you how to do this in Power BI.
Count rows before 2020/01/01.
Count before 2020 = CALCULATE(COUNTROWS('Table'),FILTER('Table','Table'[Date]<DATE(2020,01,01)))Or
Count before 2020 = CALCULATE(COUNT('Table'[ID]),FILTER('Table','Table'[Date]<DATE(2020,01,01)))Result is as below.
