Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Data.SqlClient, Version=1.13.20136.2

Hi All,

 

I am facing below error: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Data.SqlClient, Version=1.13.20136.2.

It not happend before, I believe after updating Power BI dekstop to new version somewhere in Oct-Nov '20

Current Version: 2.87.762.0 32-bit (November, 2020). I am using direct qeury for this.

Did any one has facing this issue and manage to resolve it. Thanks.

    Hi Qin,

     

    I manage to recover the problem by downgrade it to 1 last version(October Release).

    Is due to new  Version: 2.87.762.0 32-bit (November, 2020).

    Problem solve. Thanks.
