Copying table from Table view does not work completely
Hi Sehetret - I saw many users have recently reported the same issue with the 'Copy Table' option in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service. It seems to be a bug introduced in a recent Power BI update (likely March or April 2025). Instead of copying just the filtered rows from a visual, it copies all rows from the underlying table, which can be overwhelming and crash Excel or slow down your machine.
suggestion:
You can roll back to a previous version of Power BI Desktop if this issue is critical for your workflow
