Hello @All,
I have a report in Power BI desktop. I have made a copy of the report and did some minor chages to cater to different stakeholders. How can I make the copy to have the same dataset so that I do not have to refresh two datasets

Hi @Kish1999 , Can you try the solution described here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Duplicate-report-using-the-same-Dataset/m-p/355890
Hello @johncolley ,
I have already created the copy report. For example the Orginal report is "Work" then I made the copy and renamed it to "Work_Hours".. when i publish this report, the dataset for "Work_Hours" is work_hours and not the same as "Work".. And now when i try to get the data using the PBI dataset, it says that "Your report is already connected to a dataset, you cannot connect to a live dataset"..
Hi @Kish1999 , Can you try the solution described here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Duplicate-report-using-the-same-Dataset/m-p/355890
Hi @Kish1999 , You can select an existing Power BI Dataset as the datasource for a new report. So in your new file when you select Get Data choose Power BI Datasets and selec the dataset associated with your first report.
