6 years agothere is also incremental refeshes if you have premium https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/admin/service-premium-incremental-refresh which might solve your issue

Thanks.
Basically what I want to do is create a Baseline data column based on the first date entered for a given row.
(Similar to the MS Project Baseline function)

you will have to keep history if you using the same source and overwriting it. Or create a new field for the original date.
