Copy data from excel into BI

Hi, i want to copy more than 3000 cells into a power bi table.   How can i do that? Is there a way to connect data (Data > Excel) and then leave data static in?   Thanks

    After you have imported the Excel spreadsheet, then click on "Edit Queries".

    From there, right click on the excel spreadsheet, and remove the check that says "Include in report refresh"

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     


    This should change the excel data to static data.

already done, nothing change

 

If a delete excel file power bi stop works

Anonymous  You have to hit Close and Apply after unchecking "Include in report refresh". Otherwise your changes won't be applied.

Then try refreshing it will work perfectly ;)
