Copy and Paste option

HI

I am using a table on my power bi report with filters, the table has multiple columns such as name, phone number, organization name, etc... and also a column named "Email Address". on each row, we have one email address. What I am looking for is to have an option of adding a "Copy" button on the report. The role of this copy button is to copy only the emails, concatenate them with colon delimiter. In case, "copy" button is not available, other option is to have a textbox added that will always hold the concatenated email address with colon separation. In the end, the user of the report, should narrow down his / her search and then copy the emails and paste in the outlook.

Let me know if the above is clear or needs more elaboraito.

  • Hi RaffiKouzoudj ,

    Is this what you want?

    Measure =
    CONCATENATEX(
        ALLSELECTED('Table'),
        'Table'[Email Address],
        ";"
    )

    Best regards,
    Lionel Chen

RaffiKouzoudj - I don't see a "Copy" button being feasible but you could use CONCATENATEX in a measure that you could display in a Card visualization.

      Hi Greg,

Thank you for your quick reply. I believe CONCATENATEX is used to concatenated 2 or more column values together. What I would like to do is to concatenated table rows column values .

That is i have email column, with  multiple rows. So i want to concatenated all the values and save it in one textbox. Where users can select, copy and paste in outlook.

      example:

      1. [email protected]

      2. [email protected]

      3. .....

Result: all the email in one textbox separated with colons.
