Copy Table to Excel: All Data Crammed in One Column

Issue is not solved, but I'm circumventing it using the table visual on a page.
This also occurs in the opposite direction. When copying a table from MS Word into Power BI (as shown in LinkedIn Learning Power BI Essential Training by Gini Von Coutier), all data is crammed into one column. I worked around this by copying the MS Word Table into MS Excel, saving as .csv, and then copy and paste into PowerBI.
