Copy Pasting from Power BI report into Excel

Hi 

I am trying to directly copy paste an entire table into ms excel. However, I am unable to do so as the only option showing is "copy visual" which does not paste anything onto excel. I have also tried right clicking one of the cells in the table and then selecting "copy selection", However that only pastes that particular row into excel.

I also tried rightclicking the column headers but that doesn't work either, the only option it shows is "copy visual".

 

p.s. I tried taking help from this link https://www.goodly.co.in/copy-paste-data-power-bi/ but it still does not work for me.

any kind of help will be much appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi lavishag ,

     

    By my test, "copy selection" will appear in the following situations:

    1. When you cilck the any data of this column(except column header) in the table visual. 

    2. When you click column header or any data of this column in the matrix visual.
