Convert old Microstrategy reports to Power BI

Hi all,

I have a question related to that we have a alot of reports built in Microstrategy that we want to move to Power BI.
It is more or less a native query and the users have started to move them to Power
with copy the query from Microstrategy and paste them in to a native query in Power BI.

I do not think this is the best solution for this type of reports, or what do you think?

The source today is on prem SQL server,
but we are working on moving our data to Snowflake.

What is your recommendation solution regarding this?

Hi @tobiasnygren ,

I don't seem to understand your business scenario, can you provide some screenshot information and describe it so that I can give suitable advice.

Looking forward to your reply.

Best Regards,
Henry

What I am thinking about is the best solution for this type of reports with only one query.
We are not going to build a model on them. The users only want a report.
For example
- Use Power BI report server for this type of reports
- Use Paginated report...
- Do not build reports with native queries in Power BI, create a view in DW instead....
