Convert UTC Date to Central Standard Time

@ links to members, content   I have a datetime column in UTC time in my table.  I want to add a column to that table and convert the time to Central Standard Time.  Is there a simply way to do thi...

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    You can create a new calculated column in power bi desktop by DAX:

     

    CST Time = [YourUTCDateTimeColumn] - TIME(6, 0, 0)

     

     

    Or you can create a custom column in power query:

     

    CST = DateTimeZone.SwitchZone([YourUTCDateTimeColumn],-6)
