I have a data set that contains a list of quizes and and question responses. Example dataset below. I am looking to calcuate the total quizes where Question1 = 5 or 4.
Note that there may be a Quiz with the same [Quiz Number], but different [Question1] response.
Quiz Number | Question1 | Top 2 Response |
1234 | 5 | 1 |
4567 | 4 | 1 |
4567 | 2 | 0 |
6789 | 3 | 0 |
4321 | 1 | 0 |
The Tableau calculation leverages "Fixed", would like to convert this to PowerBI DAX. Any ideas?
Top 2 Response =
{FIXED [Quiz Number]:
MAX(IF [Question1] = 5 THEN 1
ELSE IF [Question1] = 4 THEN 1
ELSE 0
END)}
@dogt1225 Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882
Also, please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490
The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
Thanks @Greg_Deckler for the feedback. I have updated the post. Please let me know if there are any questions
