Hello People,
I have started working on power bi recently, where i have conneted my power bi local to Dynamo DB using Cdata power bi .
While importing the content of a particular table, i am getting an error msg stating :
Hi @Anonymous ,
As @amitchandak said, when you encounter errors in data type conversion, you may check steps in The Advanced Editor.
And refer to the following blogs, they may be helpful for you to connect dynamodb.
How to Analyze DynamoDB Data in Power BI
Publish Real-Time Amazon DynamoDB Data to PowerBI.com.

@Anonymous , Are you converting a number to date or vice versa. There is an issue with that. I think there is a date value in the number column
this is the first step were i am getting the data by connect to my dynamodb. after the connection made i am able to select the table that i need.
At this step itself i am getting this error msg. There is attribute named data under which i have a large json content of each record.
I need help is in sloving this long convertion issue and normalizing the json content into a table format.
@Anonymous , Open power query and check steps on the right side, Click on the step before the data Type conversion step. check are you able to see data, if yes? Then check datatype in this step and match with the next step to find an error. forcefully correct the data type in next step
just now i tried to import the live data again and the issue is not comming. yesterday their were 1000 records among which the error was striking. Now i could find only 9 records with no error in importing the content.
More over i am very new to this platform, and i am literly worried that changing things might srew things up.
Is there any articles that make things better to start with??
