I have a detail page in my report. I wish to allow users to right-click a column on the Profit chart on the Profit page and have the user drill-through to the detail page for whichever month column was right-clicked.
The Profit column chart uses dimCalendar[Month] as the axis. I have added dimCalendar[Month] as a Drill-through field of detail page. This has the desired effect - a can right-click on the column in the chart and select drill-though to the detail page.
So far so good.
But I notice that this same drill-through option is available on every other chart in my report! For example, the Absences chart on the Absences page also has columns with dimCalendar[Month] as the axis, and so the option to drill-through to the Profit detail page appears. I do not want this.
How can I enable or disable the drill-through pop-up menu option on the desired visuals and chart series?
Hi @Anonymous ,
Does that make sense? If so, kindly mark my answer as the solution to close the case please. Thanks in advance.

Hi @Anonymous ,
Please have a try.
Created a duplicate column and used that in the visual.
Or you can vote here
Disable drillthrough with right-click on visuals .
As of now there is no way to disable the drillthrough with right-click option on a visual that uses a column used for drillthrough on its axis
There was a workaround to it (creating a new identical column and using it as axis) but with the new button drillthrough functionalities it can no longer be used (and it was not a proper method anyway)
Now you are forced to leave active an option that might show wrong data to the user as not even the workaround is available
