Hi all,
How can I control the order of items in a slicer drop down?
I entered numbers and index in a Table
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 <- Values
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 <- Index
I went to Table View
I selected Values
On Sort By Column, I selected Index
I went back to the drop down slicer
1, 10, 11, 12, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 <- Order on visual
What am I missing?

Got it
I typed in the list of values and the index
I did not check the data types - both were text
I converted both to whole numbers
Now properly sorted
Not sure why a list of numbers entered manually would be treated as text.
Maybe best import absolutely everything is best policy?
