I would like to consult you about the following regarding the public settings of reports created with Power BI.
[Background]
Currently, we have a Power BI report that was published for temporary use. Since it has completed its purpose, we would like to stop access from the currently shared URL.
However, we would like to keep the report itself as a reference for the future without deleting it.
[Consultation matter]
Could you please tell me if there is a way to disable shared links (in the form of "anyone who knows the link can access it") on the Power BI service?
We would like to keep the report in Power BI without deleting it, but only restrict access to it.
We also anticipate that a similar response may be necessary in the future.
In that case, we would appreciate it if you could also let us know if there is a more appropriate management method, such as moving or duplicating the report to another workspace to make it private.

Disable Public Access: Go to report settings > "Manage permissions" > remove "Anyone with the link" access to disable public sharing.
Keep Report Without Deleting: Disabling the link keeps the report in Power BI but restricts access.
Future Management Suggestions:
Use dedicated workspaces with limited access for internal/reference reports.
Avoid using "Publish to Web" for sensitive or temporary content.
Create a copy of the report in another workspace if public sharing is temporarily needed, then delete or unpublish it later.

Yes, you can disable public report links in Power BI Service by going to Settings > Manage permissions and removing access for "Anyone with the link."
To keep reports private but still accessible internally, could you please try below steps

Move the report to a restricted-access workspace

Switch from “Publish to web” to “Embed in SharePoint or Teams” for internal sharing

Temporarily unlist the report and re-enable when needed
Also, if the report was shared accidentally or needs tighter control, removing the public link will immediately block access.
