I have a date based line chart as seen in the picture below:
where I have added a few x-axis constant lines however now i want to add a line to show when events that impact the progress occur. I managed to get the new line however I want to add the reason as a tooltip but this is not possible using powerBI constant x-axis option. keep in mind that the reason and date is in a measure that only appears when project is filtered. Thus hardcoding the reason as the x-axis name is not possible as it would change from project to project.
is there anyway to add a constant x- axis with a tooltip? using measure, DAX, Tables, powerQuery or any tool in PowerBI?
Hi, @kha_powerbi
The current version does not support the Tooltips feature for the X-axis, you can submit an idea for here and the product team will take note of such a need.
