I am using the May 2018 (latest version) of PBI Desktop, and I see that there is a connector for Active DIrectory - however, this only allows me to connect to a local instance of AD, not Azure AD. I would like to be able to connect to the users table in Azure AD so that I can pull usernames and their associated AD groups from Azure into a table within my models.
Anyone know how to do this?
Thanks!!
Hi @Anonymous,
I would suggest you vote up this idea. As a workaround, please refer to blog/azure-active-directory-meets-power-bi/.

Thanks for response @v-jiascu-msft. I did upvote the idea you suggested. I'm not sure what you mean by utilizing the Azure AD content pack as a "workaround" though, as this will not give me access to individual user AAD groups accessible in my models? Can you elaborate? Or where you just suggesting to take a look at this?
