Connection to redshift database taking too long
Hello Community!
I have the following issue. When connecting to a source from redshift database, after closing and applying changes in the query editor, the typical pop up of refresh comes up, but the problem is the refresh message says "Waiting for redshift cluster..." as the following image show. I have been waiting for over 2 hours for the rows to start loading, any way to speed up this process or insights on why this could be taking so long?

UlisesCiccola , Have you done any transformation? or just loading the tables. In the case of transformation, it may take time

Hi UlisesCiccola ,
Would you please check if there is any transformation step that can stop query folding in your query. In the Power Query Editor window, it is possible to determine when a Power Query query can be folded. In the Query Settings pane, when you right-click the last applied step, if the View Native Query option is enabled (not greyed out), then the entire query can be folded.
And you can also disable load to save memory for unuseful query:
