Connection postgresql with power bi Desktop

when try to connect power bi desk top with postgresql it give me error Althoug i already successfully connected from my windows to the same postgresql database through Pgadmin. How i can fi...

Hi AhmedEssam ,

 

Are you connecting to Azure PostgreSQL through a private endpoint? If you change to a public endpoint, is his connection working?

Hello

No i installed postgresql direct on the vm.

    Hi AhmedEssam ,

     

    Let's troubleshoot and resolve this:

    1. First, ensure that you are connected to the internet and that your firewall is not blocking the connection. Try pinging the PostgreSQL server to confirm if you can access it. If you can't ping it, there might be network or firewall restrictions.

    2. Sometimes, SSL certificates can cause connection errors. Update the SSL certificate for your PostgreSQL server.
    Make sure the certificate is valid and matches the one used in your Pgadmin connection.
