Connection from Power BI Desktop to SQL Analysis Services - is there any way to provide credentials?
If it helps anyone, I was able to set up the Analysis Server with an HTTP endpoint as described at Configure HTTP Access to Analysis Services on IIS 8.0 | Microsoft Learn, and then created Windows credentials on each user's local machine with the HTTP endpoint and credentials of a Windows login on the server that was part of the Analysis Service's database Reader role
Hi pejohnson ,
Sorry about that.
As far as I know, for security reason, you should use Windows credentials to connect to AAS, it is by design.
Hope this helps you.
