We have been advised to connet power BI with netsuite with ODBC driver that will cost somethign like 1700 USD a year.
I wonder if this is the most cost effective way to do it. not sure which one it is.
I see this is cheaper
NetSuite ODBC Driver - Ordering (devart.com)
Is that worse than others out there? does it make a difference? Is it something i'd be likely to be able to just install (as a only semi technical person)
And to help me understand - since these are advertised as "no code" solutions - I suppose it would also be possible to connect without ODBC drivers (thus skip this cost), but it would require a prohibitive amount of code?
Hi @Scottx , you can check this provider that offers one time service when you won't need to worry about subscription costs: https://vidi-corp.com/cases/netsuite-sales-organisation-analysis/
There may be a non-ODBC driver solution according to this website:
Connect NetSuite to Power BI - DataChant
If you scroll to "Option Two: Leverage NetSuite’s Web Query report functionality", there are instructions for how to do so. Hope this helps!
