Connecting web data source with key in PowerBI gateway

Hi everyone,

I have a web data source that I can successfully connect to from powerbi desktop using a key. However, I want to create a gateway for the connection on powerbi service so that I can create a refresh schedule for the data source. However, the web option does not have an option where I can put in the key.

You can manage the configuration of these data sources by using the Data source credentials section in the dataset settings.

As the following screenshot shows, you don't need to configure a gateway connection. You can turn off the gateway.

Cloud data sources will trigger OneDrive refresh.

Any changes made are automatically updated in Power BI, usually within an hour.

As far as I know, you don't need a gateway for web page sources.
