Connecting to on-demand data
- Anonymous9 years ago
Hi runemalo,
I can't find any connector of CA both desktop and service side. Perhaps you can try to use Odata, ODBC, of Web mode to connect to CA api.(if it support these connect functions)

Xiaoxin Sheng
Interested about any progress on this too... Anyone?
Hi,
We decided to put this on hold, as apparently there is a direct connection in its way (it might actually already have been implemented in the last version from CA).
I would love to hear if anyone has any news on this topic!

I have this up and running with an Odata connection into CA PPM. It links to a data wharehouse vs the real time system. So far this has made our Clarity reporting so much easier.

Are you grabbing all records from a given table and filtering/joining it in PBI, or are you actually sending queries - similar to those produced by Advanced Reporting - that return final data sets?
